You're an introvert. Just get used to it. Then cut yourself some slack.

ditto luke. i feel the same way often. it doesn't help that we both have jobs where we have to deal with people. there is an old saying in ministry... ministry would be great if it weren't for the people. the same could be said for banking. don't worry DB, your friends will love you no matter what.

I've been known to do that, break plans at the very last minute. It's not that I don't love my friends and don't want to see them, it's just that there are times when I have a lot on my mind and don't want to burder people with my troubles (because no one is more tired of hearing me complain about my job AGAIN than me), or I have nothing on my mind and just want to be all Garbo about it at home with my knitting and stories on the TV.

One more way we are alike. I know, that's scary.

So I am let to wonder, Did you or Didn't you? Its monday and there is nothing posted about how great it was to be reuinited with old friends or how uncomfortable moments were with friends you haven't shared experiences with in a long time. The suspence is killing me. Not really but just wanted to sound dramatic!!

Working on your Halloween Costume?
